Monday:

a) Squidoo + Hubpages: Update your lens, page (cross promote with your articles) twice a week, add your blog RSS feed to you Squidoo + hubpage (like this, they are always updated, and Google will love your lens even more. RSS is really important).

Add Plexos to your lens: Top 10 list, Amazon, Blurb. Make it really interesting and a viral resource in your niche.

Note: the more you update your squidoo lens, the more you will do well in the search engines.

Promote your lens like you would promote your own blog for more exposure.

Tuesday:

a) Blog comments in popular blogs in your niche
b) Send an email to your list (or newsletter with your blog or articles)

Tuesday is the best day to send an email to your list.

Wednesday:

a) Directory submission (recommended: outsource)

Thursday:

a) Create a viral report (it can just be 7 of your articles that you bundle together)

Friday:

a) blog comments (on other authority blogs in your niche)
b) check your stats

c) Think on how you can improve what is already working and put this on autopilot.

Everyday tasks:

Check your emails (after you finished your daily tasks) Forum marketing.

For the professional who writes articles, Craigslist provides and excellent opportunity to build your business. This is not an article about submitting numerous posts to Craigslist in hopes of driving business your way. It would only be reasonable to assume that he/she may be sub par at selling homes, because the real deal makers are too busy to post a ton of ads. Solution: Break your article body up with lists/bulleted points, sub-headings and block quotes.

Mistake #5 A Pointless Resource Box The point of your resource box is not to create an online ego wall like the wall in your office with all your diplomas and awards. The purpose of your resource box is to get the reader to click through to your web site and become a visitor, prospect or customer.

Solution: Give your reader a good reason to click through to your web site by letting them know there are more good tips on your web site like the ones they have just read. Include at least one complete link (http://www.yourgreatdomainname.com) back to your web site.

Writing articles is not as difficult as you think. Think what your customers need to know about your products and you should easily be able to come up with ten or even more ideas about the articles you can write about.

2.Go to forums in your niche.

Look closely at the questions being asked. Supply the answer. A glass of water to a thirsty crowd is very very valuable!

3.Go to the best article directories

Get some ideas for articles from articles that are already there. Do not copy, but get some ideas from articles that are already written and accepted by these article directories.

4.Go to your competitors' websites, or websites that provide complimentary products to yours.

Check the information there. If they have great content, re-write their content into articles in your very own words. Remember this is research.

5.Look for ideas in blogs pertaining to your niche.

Use your main keywords and the term 'blog'. Have a feel of what people are talking about in your niche. If they have questions, answer them. Simple as that.

4) The number of web pages available displaying ads will continue to grow. The amount of money you collect on a per ad basis will probably decrease due to the increase in the number of sites seeking to display them. Diversify and look for innovative ways to monetize your site.

5) Internet sales will continue to soar, but, due to the increased competition, the amount of income per web site will probably decrease. Many people want to know how to make money by writing articles. I usually tell them that in order to make significant long-term money, they have to write one or more articles per day and keep at it for several months.

But what about the people who don't want to make significant long-term money? Are you out of luck if you just want to make a few hundred quick bucks? Not at all. In fact, it is quite easy to make quick money on the Internet if you are skilled at writing articles.

Go to one of the large forums in your niche, I use Digital Point and Warrior Forum. Once there, go to the sections for general marketing discussions. Look for questions on marketing a product and offer to write articles to help them promote their product. Then, enter a post or two on each forum offering to write articles for others.

You will not get rich using this technique. But then, you said you only wanted to make a few hundred, right? Most people will pay $4 - $5 per article, depending on length, quality, etc. If you are experienced, you can probably write a 400 - 500 word article in about half an hour. Therefore, you can pretty easily write four articles per day. If we use the lower figure of $4 each, you will earn about $480 in a month using this technique.

All in all, if you are looking to make quick money writing articles, forums are you best bet. This method has the added advantage of allowing you to set your own terms. If a client needs 10 articles, you can write five on day one and require some or all of the payment on delivery. However, in most cases, people want to review the articles before completing the payment.

If you do not want to spend time in the forums, you can use one of the many companies on the Internet that pay you for your articles. However, you will not make much more from these companies because they receive a portion of your earnings on every sale you make. And, because these companies have so many authors writing for them, you would not make much money right away.

SEO Contests are competitions between SEO Specialists and others who want to either showcase their search engine optimization skills or test their own knowledge of SEO.

Typically, a contest is set up and a keyword or keyphrase is defined by the contest holder. The object of the contest then is to develop a website or a web page that is optimized for that keyword or key phrase. The goal then is to obtain the 1st position rank for a search engine or several search engines for the given keyword.

Unless the contest holder's rules specify against it, most participants will attempt to register a domain name containing the keyphrase.

The next step in developing a contest entry is to provide content. Because the keyphrase is the equivalent of an imaginary word, any content will suffice. Much of how the contest will conclude also depends on the timing of the contest. A long term contest lasting around a year will call for a different strategy than a shorter contest.

Google updates make or break your contest entry.
