Power Article Marketing - A Simple Tactic To Create Article Titles That Pull In Endless Clicks!

Article marketing is currently hands down the best way to drive free traffic to your site. Why? Because a good article can bring in residual traffic even years later. Not only that, a good article can work to increase the credibility of the author.

Here's a simple tip to create irresistible article titles (and as you know, a GREAT article title is half the battle won!):

If you are on many email lists, you would receive many emails from marketers daily.

There are three kinds of email subject lines Internet marketers write:

1) Curiosity based (example: it happens in 72 hours...)

2) Benefit based (example: how to rank #1 in Google...)

3) Curiosity and Benefit based (example: how to rank #1 in Google using this underground method!)

You really want to look out for subject lines that fall into the 2nd and 3rd category. Just use the search button in your email account to find your favorite marketer's emails. Whose emails do you respond to? Those marketers write the best subject lines.

Create a simple swipe file in Microsoft Word or Notepade with these subject lines and use them to create article titles. For example "How to rank #1 in Google using this underground method!" can be changed to "How to become an eBay powerseller using these covert strategies!") Edit them to suit your article topics. If you've been in the online marketing game a long time, you have a goldmine of email subject lines you can tap on.

Using this simple spying strategy can make your articles work harder as they pull in more traffic...

6 Highly Effective Marketing Strategies for Small Businesses

All small businesses have a passion or desire to make a real difference through the products and/or services they offer. For many marketing is an area of real challenge. Even if you actively marketed on behalf of your business when in employment, it some how feels different when you are marketing for your own business. As a small business owner myself who does not have a background, there are a number of strategies that I have found to be highly effective personally or for others.

1. Utilising contacts

When you start out in business, the initial challenge is to get some clients. So often people start with a blank piece of paper and forget about all of the contacts they have made in the past through work and socially.

By listing all of these people you can probably identify 100 people who you can drop a letter or e-mail to let them know what you are up to and asking them to look out for any opportunities. You might even meet some for lunch or coffee. This is what I did to get my first 3 clients.

2. Focussed networking

There are plenty of opportunities to network. Some of it is very structured like BNI while there are other events that are less structured and more informal. What is vitally important is to find networking events that allow you to connect with your target clients. For example, if your target market is female business owners, then a specific networking events aimed at that market will be more focussed networking. I work with professionals so a branch meeting for accountants is an excellent place to network.

3. Writing

If you enjoy writing and sharing your knowledge and insights, writing can be a highly effective part of your marketing activity. As well as magazines, local papers and professional journals, there are now lots of options for submitting articles online. One of the real benefits of online articles is that they give you exposure to a much wider audience than a local or national publication.

4. Speaking

If you are a consultant, coach, trainer, accountant, lawyer to name a few, speaking can be a highly cost effective and time efficient way of marketing. Yes it takes some time to pull together a speech but you can use it over and over again. The other major benefit is that your marketing is one to many rather than one to a few with networking.

5. Blogging

This is not one of the strategies that I have used myself but is incredibly popular. Some people just blog while there are others who combine a blog with a podcast.

6. Trade shows and exhibitions

With trade shows and exhibitions you can either decide to exhibit or just even visit. This can be one of the more expensive options but can be highly valuable for product based businesses or service businesses that are well understood like telemarketing or banking.

There are numerous options open to you when it comes to marketing your business. Get creative and start identifying at least 3 channels to market that will have the greatest impact for your business.

Article Marketing - Is This a Good Way to Reach Niche Decision Makers

Article marketing is actually one of my favorite ways to reach three different (although possibly overlapping groups of people: 1) people who exist in competitive markets where the cost of advertising is high 2) niche customers who are hard to pin down and find and 3) people who are buyers, not search engine-aholics.

Why does article marketing work so well for all these groups?

I think it is because all of these groups are so difficult to reach through the traditional mediums and yet with article marketing every article is the same. That is, controlling for things like strength of the title, and the article directory or web site to which you submit the article, all articles are equal.

And one of the things that keeps the market so open is that it cannot be reasonably automated you cannot create a machine to do the article writing for you. And because of this, and because most people seem to want to automate things it is easier and easier to stand out if you are article marketing at least that is my opinion.

One of the best ways to target a specific group of people like business decision makers is to write articles that are specifically targeted to the types of topics that would appeal to business decision makers.

So the first step would be to brainstorm, what types of articles would be of interest to business decision makers? Once you have that, info, the rest is a piece of cake write the articles, and the traffic will come. Remember, article marketing produces some of the highest quality leads around.

Build Your Online Business Using Viral Marketing Techniques

Viral marketing has emerged as an unstoppable marketing tool to reckon with in businesses. It is a system that makes use of networks that have existed from before for the promotion of a service, idea, or a product. The term viral gained currency because this marketing method spreads very fast among people by passing information.

Given below are some superb viral marketing techniques and characteristics:

1. Give away something of value away for free

One of the most powerful marketing terms is none other than "free." When you plan to use this term for your enterprise think about what you want to give away as a freebie. A few of the common things are research reports, e-zines and books, free samples, or an email auto-responder course. All of these items can be provided for "free" through various means. Put opt in tools on all the pages of your website for any or all of the above.

Opt in functions should also be installed in your current e-zines, in your article or blog signature file, in your email signature file and cross referenced with each marketing tool.

2. Provide a way to easily transfer an idea, image or concept to others

Viruses spread only when they are easily transmitted, otherwise they stay inside their host subject. It is very important to create a marketing system that can be forwarded easily. Attachments, HTML emails, podcasts and website links are some of the techniques that can be sent to recipients. Internet users also forward to others website links of articles, blogs and forum posts that they like themselves.

3. Make it scalable

Your business as well as website should have the strength to tackle a large flow of queries when you start on viral marketing. For instance, if large number of people show interest on your freebies that you have put up, do you possess the technology to deliver what you promise? If not, then you should contact a provider that can do the needful on your behalf. Becoming thoroughly acquainted with this marketing tool before you introduce a campaign and getting used to the supportive technology that you will require to execute the plan are a must as requests pour in.

4. Make use of the motivation and natural instinct of others

Opt ins and permission email lists are instances of marketing skills that make explore the natural instinct of people to want things for free. Affiliate programs make use of businesses by generating a high volume of links from persons searching for a place to put high quality ads on their sites.

5. Utilize current and existing communication methods

Once you decide to launch a viral marketing campaign, make sure that you explore the most recent internet marketing tools and trends. Right now email autoresponders, podcasts, nanocasts, article writing, blogs, and instant messenger are the most popular communication and marketing tools the Internet has to offer. To become a successful business owner you will need to acquaint yourself with all of these methods and also newer techniques that come up so as to build a real viral marketing potential.

By making the most of the above ideas, your business will be in a prime status to generate small and even big scale viral effects as you create quality materials for your business.

Article Marketing Tips For Supercharged Profits!

Article marketing when done correctly is a powerful website promotion technique. It is hardly a secret that most well-informed marketers and webmasters use article marketing as one of the many traffic driving techniques. We will take a closer look at the world of article marketing and some tips that will supercharge our traffic and explode our sales.

People use article marketing to post their ideas, views, opinions and knowledge about their pet topics. Article submission directories offer interesting reads and are rich sources of information to readers. They are like online new stands where you can read and even download any article you like except that they are free at article directories. This is mutually beneficial. Readers get their information and sometimes are entertained by the interesting snippets and funny jargons and style of writing authors use. Authors get to tell stories to their readers. Getting targeted visitors to their websites is the main reason for article marketing. What are some handy tips we can use to multiply our efforts?

1. Keyword and Content Research

Many webmasters and internet marketers fail to do a proper keyword and content research. There are many benefits in conducting these researches. They tell you what the market is searching for so that you can correctly target the right market. It is time and effort well-spent. You will also find that a targeted article will attract quality, buying traffic to your website and not just curious readers. So hang out at the forums and blogs to read what people are saying and looking for.

2. Hire a Ghost Writer

It is best if you can write your own content. However, if you are one of those who hate writing, do not let that stop you from using article marketing as a traffic generation tool. You can always hire a ghost writer to write for you. There are several places where you can get a decent writer at affordable rates such as Scriptlance, Elance, The Phantom Writers, Rentacoder and Killer Content. But make sure you ask for a sample article to check the quality. You may also head to Copyscape and do a quick verification if there is any plagiarism.

3. Private Label Rights Articles

There is such a wonderful source of content called private label rights articles. Most come in monthly packages from membership sites or can be bought one-off. Many people make the mistake of using them in their original unedited format in article marketing. Guess what? The search engines quickly size them up as duplicate content. So remember to modify them.

4. Submit To Multiple Distribution Channels

Submitting manually to hundreds of article directories and other distribution channels would take you ages. There are many paid article submission services that will post your article to article directories, newsletters and Ezines. Some examples are iSnare, Article Marketer and EzineTrendz. Depending on your budget size and desired profit margin, you can choose one that fits the bill.

Article marketing like any other marketing techniques is a numbers game. The more you expose your article, the more traffic you will enjoy. Read up more on marketing with articles at my blog and find out which article submission software have been helping internet marketers and webmasters see a sustainable hike in their web traffic and income.

This article may be freely reprinted or distributed in its entirety in any ezine, newsletter, blog or website. The author's name, bio and website links must remain intact and be included with every reproduction.

Is Article Marketing Overrated?

OK. Here is what I mean. If you're not new to website promotion, you must have heard that one of the best ways to drive targeted, ready to buy traffic to one's website is by marketing with articles. It's free and the traffic is of high quality we are told.

In reality, a lot of new Internet marketers have used the technique without much success. They have written a few articles and submitted to loads of article directories and all they get in return is a trickle of traffic so they quit in frustration.

Article marketing still works. There is no question about that. The problem a lot of people have is their strategy. They get it wrong before they even begin. They make a lot of mistakes.

Let's discuss some of the mistakes most people make.

Mistake One: Lack of Patience

Many people hope to get a surge of traffic hours after they submit their articles. That won't happen. Article marketing is not a quick fire method of generating website traffic. It's usually a slow process that lasts years.

People can still visit your website through articles you've written years ago. That is the beauty of it. You get traffic forever.

Mistake Two: Writing for The Search Engines

When people learn about article marketing, the learn that one should write for the search engines. They learn one should write articles in such a way that the search engines will index quickly.

I do not believe in this. I strongly advise you write with your readers in mind. Teach them what you know in your article as simply as possible. This way, you will stand a better chance of generating long lasting traffic through your articles. Write for humans, not for the search engines.

Mistake Three: Not Writing Enough Articles

I've seen people write a couple of articles and sit back to watch the traffic gush in. If you think you will get traffic with the two articles you've got, then perish the thought. Article marketing is a continuous exercise.

You need to consistently churn out good contents so your readers will get "addicted" to you. When this happens, you can rest assured they will buy from you over and over again.

Article marketing remains as powerful as ever. It will remain powerful as long as contents still drive the Internet so use it.

See you at the bank.

Article Writing: 5 Prospect Killing Mistakes Made Before You Even Submit Your Articles

Article writing and marketing works when you do it right. Here are 5 mistakes to get out of the way so you can do it right.

Mistake #1 You Dont Submit Any Articles I know it sounds silly, but many people write their articles and never submit them. Either they do not get around to it, dont know how, or are afraid of getting rejected by the article directories.

Solution: Submit your articles! Make it a goal to submit your first article before your head hits the pillow tonight. While it is unlikely that you will get rejected, even if you do, most article directories will work with you to get you accepted.

Mistake #2 Boring Key Word Empty Titles The purpose of the title for your reader is to make the reader want to read your article. The purpose of the title for the search engines is to have key words in your titles that will get picked up by the search engines.

Solution: Design a title that pulls the reader in with benefits and uses key words in the first four words of the title.

Mistake #3 Academic Summaries If youre the purpose of your title is to pull the reader into your article, the purpose of your article summary to pull the reader even further in. Most people write an academic sounding summary such as This article is about blah, blah, blah.

Solution: Write an article summary that defines a problem that needs to be solved and then promise to solve it.

Mistake #4 An Un-Optimized Article Body I see it all the time someone writes what is perhaps a decent article but then places it in the body submission field as one big chuck of text. What is the problem with that? This makes it tough to read online and gives the impression that this will take a long time to get through.

Solution: Break your article body up with lists/bulleted points, sub-headings and block quotes.

Mistake #5 A Pointless Resource Box The point of your resource box is not to create an online ego wall like the wall in your office with all your diplomas and awards. The purpose of your resource box is to get the reader to click through to your web site and become a visitor, prospect or customer.

Solution: Give your reader a good reason to click through to your web site by letting them know there are more good tips on your web site like the ones they have just read. Include at least one complete link (http://www.yourgreatdomainname.com) back to your web site.

Avoid these five mistakes and implement the solutions before you submit your articles.

Why You Need Keyword Density In Your Articles

Keyword density is a key factor in article marketing success. Having the right keywords in your article helps you rank well in the search engines (especially Google). Choosing the right keywords is key. You want to choose keywords which your target market is using to find the information they want. Wordtracker is a great place to find the right keywords. You can use the free service or sign up for the paid service if you want something more comprehensive.

Youll want to pick out a few of the top keywords to use in your article. This gives you the best leverage for your article. You should use these few keywords a couple of times each in your article t get the best results. Add words that are similar or related to your set of keywords as well. Google recognizes these words and will see your article as being relevant.

When people search on Google, they will often use many terms and phrases before they find what they want. If you use many combinations of keywords and phrases which your target market is using, then the chances of your article appearing on the search engines are much higher. When your article appears on the top few results, the chances of the search engine user clicking through is much higher.

An article without good keyword density is like an article without legs. It wont be able to get very far in achieving what you want. So spend some time optimizing the keyword density of your article. Youll get much more traffic to your business!

Website Traffic - Why Article Marketing Blows Away Pay-Per-Click Marketing

It's always great to compare traffic generation strategies because you can tell which strategy is giving you results and which isn't. Or maybe both strategies may be giving you results but you want to know which is more effective in generating qualified prospects.

Two of the most popular traffic generation methods online today are article marketing and pay-per-click marketing. This article won't talk about what both methods are (there are already tons of articles on that) but will compare the two to see which strategy you should invest your efforts in.

Personally, for me, article marketing blows pay-per-click marketing out of the water. Pay-per-click marketing consists of Google's Adwords and Yahoo's Search Marketing, so that's no small statement I'm making. Well, there's a reason why I say article marketing is more effective.

Let's say that you spend $10 a day on Adwords. That's $300 a month. Now take that $300 and spend it on 100 articles written by a freelancer. Those 100 articles will bring you traffic for a long time, whereas your Adwords traffic was a temporary thing. And prospects generated from articles are way more responsive!

You'll often people willing to spend crazy amounts for cost per click on Adwords, but you won't find that many 'insane' competitors in article marketing. Although the competition has grown massively in recent years, it is still nothing compared to pay-per-click marketing.

And that's why I say article marketing trumps over Adwords, Yahoo Search Marketing, or any other pay-per-click network. If you don't want to write, outsource your articles. You'll see some terrific results from this marketing strategy if you do it right.

Writing Marketing Articles Isn't a Job for Marketers

Internet marketing is big businessand growing daily.

According to internetworldstats.com, 69% of United States residents now have Internet access, with 17% being the worldwide average. Thats over a billion Internet users, and a reasonable estimate would be that close to half use the Internet for shopping.

It gets better. More Internet users are also acquiring broadband connections, which makes online shopping easier. Compounding those figures, online shoppers are spending more per purchase as companies improve their online offerings.

Men, generally considered unenthusiastic shoppers, have taken to Internet shopping; women like it for research and comparison purposes. And kids? Those too young to drive have found a way to get stuff from the right stores.

These trends should only continueperhaps at steeper rates than ever.

If youre an Internet marketer, you have a lot on your plate. You need to learn technical and creative as well as marketing skills. Many Internet marketers are technologically proficient, and often their technical skills carry over (adequately enough) into computer-aided design. Unfortunately, many Internet marketers mistakenly think that once they have an Internet presence, the work is done.

But a job that may be underestimated in importance is good, solid writing of the old-fashioned variety. Thats a bad thing, because it is words that send traffic to those websites. Whether it be pay-per-click ads, press releases, or concise, informative, interesting, syndicated articles, skillfully crafted words drive the entire sales process.

Thats where a professional article writer can make the difference between success and failure for an Internet marketer.

For best results, look for a writer with a love of writing, a broad portfolio, a top-notch command of the English language, extensive research experience, attention to detail, and basic understanding of Internet marketing. Insist upon guaranteed original-content articles using the keywords you provide and the keyword density you specify.

A boring, confusing, or heavily recycled private label article wont help you sell your products, because people wont finish reading and click the link to your site. They wont pass it along to other readers or post it on their own sites.

How Many Articles Should I Submit Every Month To Make Sales?

Do you want to make more money with article marketing? Let me show you some of the common mistakes made by newbies just starting with this form of advertising, then I will show your the exact steps to quickly becoming more profitable.

Deadly Article Marketing Mistakes

1. Submitting one article per week.

Actually, it's not really a sin, but you will not make a lot of profits except if nobody else write and submit articles in your niche.

One article will not make you a lot of profits.

2. Submitting to only one directory

If you only submit to a single directory, you will not get the exposure you deserve. Profit from leverage in every single thing you do.

3. Mass submission

I see that many newbies try to submit with articlemarketer or articlepostrobots.com. There is no need to do this.

Will this hurt your article marketing plan because of the threat of duplicate content?

No, I've submitted with those services as well and my articles still bring me traffic. Duplicate content is another issue that I will discuss with you later because it needs a more in depth analyze.

What are the exact steps for success?

You need to do the following:

* Write several articles a day. I suggest a minimum of two per day to start. If you can't or don't have the time, this tedious work can be outsourced.

* Submit to the top twenty directories. For obvious reasons, you need to outsource this part as well.

If you are on a budget, you need to do this yourself. I know it's not easy but it's how I started.

Generate Income With Little Guy Network Writing Articles

Some of the many powerful Web 2.0 strategies that I teach my students is article marketing. How to effectively write articles and publish them to article directories so the average person can view your article then read your article and be interested in what you have to offer and then click through to your website.

You may or may not enjoy writing articles but it does get easier the more you do it and also after you have built a marketing budgeting after applying effective Web 2.0, you can then move onto effective paid advertising and also outsource your efforts to reliable sources and then your business truly becomes automated.

I will be providing with simple yet very powerful tips and strategies to help you get started when writing articles for your Little Guy Network business. First of all what you want to do is go to a major article directory such as this one and search articles with the name of the business opportunity you are promoting.

You will then want to make a list of all the articles already published that relate to your industry and also that relate to your online business. In doing so you have given yourself plenty of ideas for what to write in each article that you will start to write in the future.

After writing your article, the most important part of article marketing is having a powerful resource box. Now this technique I'm about to share with you is a technique that most sponsors out there do not know of and do not bother to teach their students as they are really not genuine marketing mentors.

This method is called split testing your resource box. What you want to do after you have written your article is publish it to the four most popular article directories but for each resource box you want to create a total new resource box for each article directory.

After you have done so you should leave your articles for about a week and then get back to each article directory and compare the click through rates on each of your resource box then you obviously want to keep the most effective resource box and replace the other three.

A lot of people that apply article marketing forget to do this then they wonder why they write such great articles and get such a bad click through rate back to their website.

What Sudoku Puzzles Can Teach You About Hooking Readers Into Your How-To Articles

I have become hooked on solving Sudoku puzzles. It started off by just experimenting with the puzzles, but then it grew.

As I found myself working more and more of these things, I told myself I could quit anytime I wanted to, but it was already too late.

Now I cant go to sleep at night unless I have solved a Sudoku puzzle, and I cant eat a meal if a puzzle book is sitting beside my plate.

What does my pitiful story have to do with writing how-to articles? Simply this. Sudoku books start you off on the easy level so you can build your confidence. You work a few of the puzzles at this level and you become more confident and move on to a harder level. But by the time you graduate to a higher level of difficulty, they are challenging without being so impossible that you lose hope.

In order to hook a reader into your how-to article, you must do the same thing. First you must convince your readers that they really can learn to do whatever it is you are attempting to teach them.

The reader must never lose hope that he or she can reach a level of competency as a result of your instruction. This is the promise you make to your reader, that you will see them through the learning process and they will come out the other side skillful.

People are reluctant to attempt to learn new things. They have felt the sting of failure before and it hurts. Before you can teach them in your how-to article, you must first remove their fear of failure and replace it with confidence that if they follow the steps you lay out for them, they will acquire a new skill.

Which is exactly how the Sudoku puzzle constructors got me hooked. They built my confidence up one step at a time. This is the promise you make with your reader, follow me and when we get to the end of our journey, you will be the proud owner of new knowledge and a new ability.

But before you can teach your readers your how-to information, you must first sell them on the belief that they can do it.

Do Your Readers Wish You Would Stop Writing Articles?

For a lot of us, writing articles can be a chore. Even if you don't gnaw on your nails in the fear of breaking grammatical rules, the thought of churning out even one 700+ word article per week is probably daunting. Imagine writing one per day!

So we search for tools and aids to help us break the writer's block. We hope that we can produce a brilliant discussion that grips the reader with its profundity. We labour over the topic of the article and sweat bullets over every paragraph.

But is there a more effective and easier way?

Concentrate On Effectiveness, Not Wordiness

Does your marketplace require all articles to be thorough discussions of the subject matter? Think about it.

My reading habits (and there are a lot of people who read like me) may prove differently. The sheer volume of information that we have to process now forces us to take a different approach to our reading.

More and more we scan the material, seeking the nuggets from the body of text that catch our attention and that seem worthy of careful consideration.

Get To The Point Already!

That would explain why concise bullet points are very important parts of communications - they get the message across quickly.

That's why writing quick tips is an increasingly powerful strategy. Extracting the substance and offering a tip instead of a lengthy article demonstrates your grasp of the topic - it takes good understanding to boil ideas down to their essence and communicate them quickly.

More and more readers will appreciate this as it saves us valuable time and allows us to return to our business of implementing the solutions.

Beat The Article-Writing Demon Into Submission!

While those who are haunted by visions of articles refusing to be written may be determined to conquer the demons and become skilled at producing lengthy articles on demand, you can relax in the knowledge that there's another way.

Take one thought at a time, one practical 'how to' snippet and explain it in a brief tip. Say what has to be said and nothing more.

Create a short tip article made of primarily bulleted points. Circumvent your blank page blues.

Breakthrough Article Marketing - Uncover 3 Popular Steps to Amplify Your Article Marketing

Article marketing has earned the nods of most webmasters, bloggers, and ebusiness owners as it consistently delivers great results that usually lead to improved traffic and higher page ranking. Because of this, almost everyone in the internet are exerting so much effort to perfect this technique and get ahead of the pack. In this article, you will find the top 3 popular steps that can help you advance in article marketing and these are:

1. Content. Although there are various elements that can improve your article marketing campaign, its success will largely depend on the quality of your content. Thus, it is of outmost importance that you make sure that all of your articles are useful, informative, brief, direct to the point, factual, easy and entertaining to read, unique, and highly relevant to your target niche. If you are able to consistently incorporate these elements on your articles, you will surely rise above from the rest in no time.

2. Publishing sites. Once you are able to produce quality articles, picking the best publishing sites will be your next task. Contrary to popular beliefs, you can distribute your articles to other avenues aside from article submission sites. You can post them on your blog, website, social networking sites, forums, and you can even convert them to an ebook which you can use as a viral marketing tool.

3. Resource box. Your resource box serves as a gateway so your readers will be directed to your website. To maximize its full potential, make sure that your resource box is compelling and contains all the essential elements that will entice online users to click your website's URL. Some of these elements are the following: your name, website address, elevator pitch and a powerful call to action.

Network Marketing Success Strategies - How to Build Relationships with Customers and Clients

I want you to think for a moment. Can you recall exactly, a time in your life, when you were made to feel important? Maybe it was your graduation from college, or high school, or for doing a good job at work. Whatever it was, I am sure you will agree that the experience was rather uplifting, and made you want to do even more.

What if we could experience that same feeling on a daily basis? Where would your business be then? The late Mary Kay Ash, founder of Mary Kay Cosmetics, was once asked "What is the key to your success", and her reply was to "make your people feel important"! Think about that, her entire organization was built around a very simple philosophy.

About a year ago, I was looking for a way to keep in touch with clients on a more personal basis and to recognize them. My company had some systems in place where the client would receive mailings, but these were way too commercialized, and had no meaning. A friend showed me one company that uses Internet technology to send cards to people that I could customize. I implemented that system, and now get regular feedback from clients thanking me for the cards. It actually has led to more referrals for product sales.

Here are some surefire tips to consider. Try using one of these for 21 days, it will become a habit, then start using the next.

  • People like to be recognized for their accomplishments, even achieving small goals. Sending a card can be a great and memorable was to do this. Say something nice, like, "its great to have you on our team".
  • Regarding your product, make sure you have plenty of relevant information available. People in search of your product are seeking information 1st. In fact, they will read entire books on the subject. Make sure the information is timely and accurate.
  • Ever notice how much weight a news story carries over, say an advertisement? Find current news stories about your product or business opportunity that will validate what you are offering or selling. It's almost as good as having a referral or a 3rd party endorsement.
  • People are like sheep as in, they like to follow a leader. So if you want enthusiasm from your down line, then lead with that. Be positive about your products, and your people. Empower them to do the same. Your primary team needs to know they are appreciated. They will follow your lead, and do the same with their team.
  • People do things when they know the outcome will feel good. Think about what motivates you! You have heard the saying "If it feels good, do it! In your business, what makes people feel good? One way to find out is to ask them (Do a sampling). When your customers or clients feel good about you, they are more trusting, and willing to say "yes"
  • People believe in hope, as in, for the future. Whatever has happened, or is happening is no longer relevant. So, forget the mistakes, and the negativity of the past and present ,and focus on the positive of the future. That kind of attitude rubs off on people. They will be much more productive when they know there is no grudge being held for a mistake.

Today, there is so much "How To" Information available, it really boggles the mind. It really is hard to know what works and what does not work. If anything, I think a reflection of human behavior is important. We have always been motivated by simple desires and needs: food, clothing, shelter, love, comfort and so on. When you are working with your people, or your customers, try to understand what need it is that they have, or they are trying to satisfy. Help them achieve their goal! Be a leader to them. When you do, you will find them much more ready to help you achieve your goals.

Internet Marketing Articles - Slow Down, Step Back, and Take a Deep Breath - Then Question

I guess one of the reasons that I love article marketing so much is that it helped me to stop and think a little about the many online business opportunities that I was looking at. It's as simple as this, when you write, you have to stop and think about what you are going to say. This forces you to look at it more objectively.

Objectively speaking, it doesn't take long, before you find it hard to write anything at all if you're not really on board in the first place. It takes even less time if you don't really understand how the marketing or compensation plans actually work. I recently read an email that reminded me of some things I had written when I built my first website.

I had just interviewed over one hundred people that were looking for or had just started a home based business and I was a little disappointed at how, I am not sure of the best way to say this, misinformed all of these people were. I decided to try to write a guide that might help other people get a little better understanding of the basics of business.

Anyway, the email I just read contained a series of questions that I think do a better job than anything I tried to write. So I thought I would share the questions with you -- hoping they might help you make an informed decision about any online business opportunity you might be looking at.

Is the business you are considering delivering a real product or service?

Does the product or service help people achieve meaningful goals?

Do you understand how the business works? (The marketing, the compensation)

Can you explain the business to your best friend easily and be comfortable?

WOULD you share the business with your best friend and still be friends afterwards?

If you answered yes to all of these questions you may have the beginnings of a real business.

If not, run.

I want to thank Charlie P. for the questions, and the inspiration.

Article Marketing - How to Benefit from the "John Grisham" Effect When Marketing Your Articles

Article marketing is a great way to build an internet business. One of the things I really like about article marketing is the more articles that you write and post on the article directories, the more traffic, prospects, publicity and profits come your way.

Article marketing is a numbers game - the higher your article numbers, the higher the rest of your numbers (traffice, prospects, subscribers, customers) will be.

Life begins around 100 articles

Now don't panic. One hundred articles sounds like an unreachable goal if you are just starting out, but it is achievable. I have one student/mentee that is going for 100 articles in 100 days.

Once you get to that level, and sometimes even before, you begin to experience the benefits of something I have come to call "The John Grisham Effect."

You know what it is like - you read a novel by an author you have never read before. You really like the book. So you want to read more by the same author. You go looking for what else that author has written. Sometimes you wind up reading everything that author has written.

It is the same as you begin to get more and more articles on the article directories. Someone finds and uses your article, and they have found your article to be very useful. So then the reader wants to know if you have written anything else. Then your new prospect is excited because they have found more information by you.

Pretty soon you have a loyal reader, subscriber, fan and maybe even customer. All from writing and marketing good quality articles.

Article Marketing Tips and Strategies

This is one strategy used by many marketers today. Whether you're a pro online or a beginner, there is one thing that is common between the two - And that is Traffic ! Having a good website is great. Having a good salesletter is great also. But if there's no traffic coming to your site then you need to find a way to get it there. The way that I have found to get that flow of traffic is through this particular form of marketing you are reading right now. And that is "Article Marketing."

The reason why so many people give up on writing is because they write two or three articles and sit back to wait for the flood of traffic to come and it never does. Because article marketing doesn't work that way. Consistency is the name of the game here! You will increase the traffic flow by writing more. Just spend a few minutes a day focusing on the subject at hand and you will be amazed. And if you don't have the time to complete an article a day, then shoot for every other day or once a week and then you will begin to notice a difference in the flow of traffic over the course of time.

Another reason why many people give up on writing articles is because they say that they run out of things to write about. And that there is a limit of things to talk about when there is just a few subjects at hand. Well that may be true, but when you begin to write you bring a uniqueness that nobody else has. When reading articles some people don't receive the same information that another person might receive from that same article. Because there are so many forms to writing. That is where you come in. Nobody has what you have. Just begin to talk. And as you talk, start writing. And before you know it ,you've written an article - congratulations!

Using article marketing to get traffic to your site, you also have to have good content. This is why I love using this method. To bring good content you need to know a little bit of what you are talking about. So that sort of force you to go out and learn something new that you probably didn't know before. Which means that you are growing. And the more that you grow - The more you know - and The more you know -The more you talk - and as you talk remember - start writing - and Bingo! Another article.

After you've written your article, don't forget the resource box. That box is reserved for you to introduce yourself and a call to action. There you will have your chance to direct your reader to where you desire them to go. That is why it is important to have good content in your article. If you've capture the readers attention long enough to get to your resource box then consider that article a success. Everybody is not gonna be interested in what you have to offer, but that's ok. The main thing to concentrate on is to develop good content so we all can benefit from and we all can continue to grow and write articles.

Article Marketing Success In Less Than 10 Minutes

To put it simply, article marketing is about writing articles to promote your website or business. So that means whoever writes the most amount of articles is going to win. This is where time comes into place. For an article marketer, time means everything. If your taking more than thirty minutes creating just one simple article, your going to lose. Why? Because other article marketers in your industry are going to flood the market before you. That is why time is so important in article marketing. So to help you create an article in less than ten minutes, I have come up with a strategic guide.

The strategic guide to writing a successful article in less than ten minutes!

  • Taking your subject and breaking it up into sub topics is a great way to write a fast article. Instead of writing on your subject as a whole, just write about a simple fragment of your subject. It'll be faster to write and much more simple.

  • Putting bullet points in your article will make your article writing faster. With bullets, you can write sentences without connecting it to the last one. This can save you time and get you closer to writing an article in less than ten minutes.

  • Time yourself daily. Make a new time limit each time and try to work on getting it before then.

  • Writing endless amounts of articles will not only help to advertise your website or business, but it will help you trying to write faster articles. The more articles you write, the faster your going to get at writing them.

  • Don't create a brainstorm or a rough draft. This will slow down your article submission time and your article won't get that much better. If we were to consult to the school's grading system, you should be trying to create a C grade article, not an A grade. Just write and don't think. This is the best way to write an article in less then ten minutes.

This article only took my 9 minutes to make. All I did was follow these basic strategies. So just follow them, and your article writing speed will increase!

Article Marketing and Social Bookmarking

The reason why some webmasters use articles from free content directories is to drive targeted traffic to their website and to increase their income. More and more site owners have seen the effects articles have done for the traffic of their sites.

Article marketing is a very good method, especially for those new entrepreneurs who have just begun to work as an affiliate for several different companies and are in need of funding, yet at the same time they need to build a small niche website to steer visitors towards their site so they are able to begin earning income.

Writing and submitting new articles is a crucial part of any website promotion strategy. A well written, informative article helps to build your credibility in your subject area. The links in the article resource box provide targeted traffic and effectively help to optimize your site for the search engines.

Writing and submitting new articles to article directories is an continuously task that should be performed at least on a weekly basis. Each article that is approved and published by an article directory is "hot" only for a day or two. This is because it will be displayed on the "latest articles" pages which receive more traffic than the category pages. A new article will typically remain in Google primary search results for only a week or two before it will be sent to the supplementary index. You should keep in mind though that most articles submitted in bulk to many directories will be interpreted as duplicate content and will end up in the supplemental index.

This is the reason why it is so important to submit your articles on a regular, frequent basis. If you submit at least one article a week, then you will always have a few articles that are in the primary index and getting more readers.

Submitting new articles to article directories might not be enough though. Promoting your articles while they are still "hot" is also very important. One of the most powerful promotional methods is to take advantage of the explosive growth of social bookmarking sites.

Social bookmarking sites like Delicious, Reddit, Digg and Technorati allow users to bookmark and share their favorite web pages (blogs, dynamic or static web pages, articles and so on). If you bookmark your articles in various directories, you can increase the number of people that are exposed to your article. As they click through on your headline and they read your article, they may choose to click your active hyperlink to visit your website, bringing you indirect, but targeted traffic.

The more links an article has pointing to it, the better it will rank in the search results, so these links have a very important SEO value as well. Social bookmarking sites are a very powerful tool to get more links pointing to your articles, providing a higher ranking in the search results.

By its own, article marketing is an extremely effective method to promote your site and improve your search engine optimization, but by taking advantage of the viral nature of social bookmarking, you can dramatically increase the range of your audience and ultimately, bring more visitors to your site.

The author is webmaster at Articleated.com a free article directory.

Can You Put Your Article on a Directory and Your Own Site?

Let me just kind of give you some insight into this. In theory, only one copy of your article is going to get ranked anywhere ever at any time. So if you put it on your own website and Google captures it first, assuming that they give you credit for it, assuming that you've got some page rank etc, assuming that their filters do a good job of giving you credit for it first, if you put it on EzineArticles, that page is probably not going to show up in normal search results anyway. It's probably going to be shuttled over to supplemental results and not going to show up in top 10 results anyway.

So if you're going to put it on your site, why put it on EzineArticles? Now if you put it on EzineArticles first, unless your site has a higher page rank than 6 or 5, depending on what page you're on in EzineArticles, there's no sense in putting it on yours.

My advice to people is write separate articles. If you need content for your site, write one article, and then when you submit articles, write separate articles.

I don't think there's any good reason to put an article on your site and on EzineArticles if you're looking for traffic and links and that type of thing from it.

Now if you've got a lot of articles on EzineArticles and you want them all indexed there and you want people to be able to see them there, then maybe there's a case to put some of those duplicates on your own site.

But I think that long-run the wisest strategy is if you put something on your site, don't submit it anywhere else. I think that pretty much answers that question.

Introducing A Killer Way Of Generating 100's Of Article Ideas In Just Minutes! (Part 1)

I was trying to come up with article ideas one rainy Sunday afternoon when I came up with an idea: I looked at salespages and their bullet points. These places are a goldmine of potential article topics!

Just by looking at one salespage, you can easily come up with dozens of article topics that you would not have thought of.

As an example, I was looking to write an article on acne and was getting short on ideas. I visited an acne solution salespage. How did I find it? Simple, I simply searched the Clickbank marketplace, where there are hundreds of direct marketing salespages for you to mine.

Direct marketing salespages are the best places to get ideas, simply they generate the best responses. Instead of concentrating on branding, their idea is to grab attention and sales.

So I found an acne site. And found a bullet that said something like this:

How To Eliminate Acne And Say Goodbye To Worthless Over The Counter Products Forever!

By reading that bullet point, it is easy to tell that the solution is a natural one, or something unorthodox. So I simply began to search for natural acne solutions on Google and read the articles that came up. I extracted the main points into Notepad and began writing my article. In less than 15 minutes, I had a brand new, unique article. Thats the power of bullets on salespages.

This tip alone can be worth hundreds of new articles, and more money in your bank account!
