Finding Quality Link Partners

Every webmaster knows the importance of incoming links to a site to boost traffic and search engine rankings. But how do you find good quality sites that will link to you?

I recently came across an article that explains how to search for quality link partners on Google. According to the article this technique has become old hat to many search engine optimization experts but its new to me. Maybe I have not been doing my homework.

Simply use one of the following search techniques replacing the "keyword Phrase" with the keyword you want to associate your site with. The key word phrase is the key because you want sites that are of the same subject matter as your own to link to you. Try using the key phrase that you want your site to be found by when someone does a search. Also be sure to use that same key phrase in all your link titles.

  • 1. intitle:add+url "keyword phrase"
  • 2. intitle:submit+site "keyword phrase
  • 3. intitle:submit+url "keyword phrase"
  • 4. intitle:add+site "keyword phrase"
  • 5. intitle:add+your+site "keyword phrase"
  • 6. intitle:directory "keyword phrase"
  • 7. intitle:list "keyword phrase"
  • 8. intitle:sites "keyword phrase"

I used the above examples and came up with 100s of potential link partners all who have good page ranks with Google. You want to make sure that the pages your links will appear on have a Google PR or your link will not be found when the Google spider comes crawling.
